Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (Mini)

I’ll admit that I’ve never played a Tomb Raider title ever. From PSOne to PlayStation 3, I have never seen Lara jumping through tombs or battling creatures with her signature double pistols.

But Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light isn’t Tomb Raider. It’s an arcade type experience that focuses on collecting orbs, solving puzzles quickly, and moving from the start of a level to the end as quickly as possible.

Played better with a friend, the co-op is a better experience for the title, using the right stick to aim and create the nostalgic arcade play style. It’s a light title, focusing on smaller play sessions, but the switch is that they’re a fun diversion and lead to moving to the next level.

As a PSN download, there’s more than enough to warrant the price, and if you have friends, it’s one of the better co-op titles online.

Fun with friends, a little lonely alone
