Square Enix Unveils Heroes of Ruin

Square Enix announced a new Nintendo 3DS title called Heroes of Ruin. Built with the portable in mind, it uses StreetPass and SpotPass for multiplayer elements.
Heroes of Ruin is also offering more social gaming features.
With StreetPass, the game uses a in-game “Traders’ Network.”
Allowing players to buy/sell items, passing other players in the REAL WORLD can offer some powerful items.
SpotPass uses Wi-Fi hotspots with items and challenges.
Scheduled for early 2012, it appears Square Enix wants players to leave their houses.

Total War: Shogun 2 DLC is Now Available

The first DLC pack for Total War: Shogun 2 is available on Steam.
The Ikko Ikki Clan pack opens the Buddhist Rebel faction for use along with Ikko Ikki Monk, eight unit variants, and Warrior Nun for other factions.
Another addition is ten new retainers, achievements, Ikko Ikki General Skill Tree, historical battle, and avatar armor sets.
Total War: Shogun 2 is an impressive game that will have a long shelf life.

Sega brings back Shinobi

Griptonite Games is bringing Shinobi back to players on the Nintendo 3DS, published by Sega.
Releasing in September, the title will harken back to the old days telling the story of Jiro Musashi, father of original protagonist, Joe Musashi.
