Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game is the video game based off the graphic novel series written by Bryan Lee O’Malley and published by Oni Press. A companion to the movie, the video game goes back to the source material for the adaptation rather than use the movie. Interestingly enough, the original independent graphic novel series contains many video game references which help cement the presentation of the title.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game is a throwback to 8-bit graphics where most of the references of the series come from.

With the help of John Carpenter and Steve Niles, the combination of the two horror masterminds will bring a new scary-ass experience to gamers.

Sega of America and Sega Europe have announced that Vanquish is releasing its demo starting in North America (August 31st), then to Europe (September 1st), and finally to Australia (September 2nd) for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

I’m thinking this is the same demo I played at E3 2010 and it’s an intense experience especially the first time playing. The gameplay scheme takes a bit getting used to, but on my second round playing the demo; I was sliding, shooting, and destroying with ease.

Vanquish is releasing in NA October 19, October 21st Australia, and Europe October 22nd.
